A.R. Mays is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead Southern California commercial projects. This on-site role focuses on managing ground-up and tenant-improvement work, coordinating field teams, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years as a Superintendent in commercial construction; Hospitality/Hotel experience a plus.
• Experience with a general contractor.
• Strong knowledge of ground-up construction preferred.
• Experience with large site work projects is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Procore.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial projects throughout the greater Southern California Regions. This is an opportunity to join a growing, employee-owned company (ESOP) where you'll manage ground-up and tenant improvement projects while working alongside experienced Project Managers and field teams.

Job Summary

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead subcontractors, manage schedules, and serve as the key point of contact on-site.

While our corporate office is based in Scottsdale, AZ, this role is focused on Southern California projects and is supported by our local office in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and jobsite execution
• Manage and maintain the construction schedule
