Job summary

Moncrief Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee high-end residential projects in Park City, Utah. You will lead day-to-day field operations, coordinate subs and vendors, and ensure workmanship aligns with plans and the company’s standards.

The role requires ownership, communication, and the ability to keep projects on schedule while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential construction experience, with leadership roles such as Superintendent/Foreman
• Experience managing custom homes, luxury remodels or complex residential projects
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing and building practices
• Experience coordinating and managing subcontractors and trade partners
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience in Park City/Utah luxury residential market is a plus

• Coordinate inspections and ensure work is ready for the next phase
• Track jobsite progress and report updates to the team
• Hold subcontractors accountable for quality, schedule, and safety
• Support problem-solving and decision-making in the field
• Build strong working relationships with clients and represent the company professionally

What You'll Do

As a Construction Superintendent, you will oversee the day-to-day execution of one or more residential construction projects, depending on project scope and complexity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage day-to-day jobsite operations


• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and project activities


• Keep projects moving according to schedule and identify potential delays before they become major issues


• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional jobsite


• Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, trade partners, and the internal team


• Monitor quality and ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and Moncrief Construction's standards


• Review plans and project details to anticipate construction challenges and coordinate solutions


• Help manage project schedules, sequencing, and workflow


• Coordinate inspections and ensure work is ready for the next phase of construction


• Track jobsite progress and communicate updates, issues, and needs to the appropriate team members


• Hold subcontractors accountable for quality, schedule, and jobsite expectations


• Support problem-solving and decision-making in the field


• Build strong working relationships with clients while representing the company professionally

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a capable and proactive construction leader who is comfortable taking ownership and keeping multiple moving parts organized.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential construction experience, with significant experience in a Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, Foreman, or similar field leadership role


• Experience managing custom homes, luxury residential projects, major remodels, or complex residential construction


• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, plans, and building practices


• Experience coordinating and managing subcontractors and trade partners


• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications


• Strong communication and client-facing skills


• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities


• Ability to manage priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-moving environment


• Comfortable using technology for communication, scheduling, documentation, and project coordination


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Experience working in the Park City or Utah luxury residential construction market is a plus, but we are open to strong candidates with the right high-end residential background.

Physical Requirements

This is an active construction jobsite role. The position requires the ability to safely perform essential job functions, including walking on uneven terrain, climbing ladders, lifting and carrying materials or equipment, and safely using or working around power tools, construction equipment, and heavy equipment.

Compensation:

$95,000 to $105,000 annual base salary, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a $9,000 annual truck reimbursement and performance-based bonuses.
