Minto Communities USA is seeking a Construction Superintendent for Latitude Margaritaville Watersound in Panama City Beach, FL. You will lead on-site execution, ensuring homes are built to code, on time, and within budget, while promoting safety and a culture of accountability.

You’ll manage trade partners, review blueprints, and maintain strong customer relationships. The role emphasizes leadership, schedule precision, and quality assurance in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree in construction preferred.
• 1+ year as Assistant Superintendent or equivalent.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of residential construction codes.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management.
• Reads and interprets construction documents.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem solving.

Your place in our story

Responsible for managing and overseeing new home construction in alignment with Minto’s standards and processes. Ensures homes are delivered on time, on budget, fully completed, and meet building code and quality expectations. Promotes safety compliance and a culture of accountability, engagement, and exceptional customer experience. Builds strong relationships with trade partners, customers, municipalities, and team members.

Here’s How You’ll Contribute

• Manage on-site execution of new home construction projects
• Oversee daily work progress, schedule adherence, and quality standards
• Coordinate trade partners and suppliers to meet project milestones
• Inspect homes to ensure tasks are completed and quality benchmarks are met
• Execute company safety and compliance protocols, including OSHA and SWPPP
• Conduct quality assurance checks and provide timely updates in scheduling software
• Maintain strong relationships with municipalities, inspectors, customers, and teams
• Communicate regularly with customers regarding progress and address concerns
• Review and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Authorize payments for materials and completed work in line with contracts
• Ensure accuracy of permits and certifications before closing
• Identify and mitigate issues impacting schedule, quality, or safety
• Monitor project budgets and approve extra purchase orders (EPOs)
• Drive efficiency and eliminate waste while meeting financial targets
• Promote integrity, ownership, and excellence
• Support trade partner development and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

What You Bring To The Team

• High school diploma required; degree in construction or related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of prior experience as Assistant Superintendent or equivalent in construction
• OSHA 10-hour Safety Training Certification required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes and building codes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
