Our client is a leading general contractor specialising in commercial and residential construction across Florida. With a reputation for quality, safety, and innovation, they are expanding their team and looking for a Superintendent to join them on exciting upcoming projects.

Position Overview

Overseeing daily onsite operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Coordinating field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, and serve as the main onsite point of contact for clients and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all onsite construction activities from groundbreaking to completion
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or issues
• Conduct daily site inspections and quality control checks
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and inspectors
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including logs, reports, and as-builts

The Person

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent (commercial or residential)
• Proven track record managing projects $1M+ in value
• Strong knowledge of Florida building codes and OSHA regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Proficient with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.)
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
