This is a 5–6 month project

Now seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee a ground‑up, 1-story Leasing Office and Fitness Center project within an active apartment community. This role requires full on‑site leadership, managing all phases of construction while ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily on‑site construction operations
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, and project workflow
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain site compliance
• Coordinate deliveries, inspections, and site logistics
• Oversee traffic control, parking coordination, and access within an occupied community
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure project standards are met

Pay rate is $50/hour.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground‑up construction projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience working in occupied or active residential environments preferred
• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain schedule adherence
• Must be local to the Chicago area or Northwest suburbs
