ABOUT THE ROLE:

DCG is seeking a results-driven Construction Superintendent to lead on-site industrial and commercial construction projects from groundbreak through closeout. The Construction Superintendent is a key leader on our project sites, responsible for the daily supervision, coordination, and execution of construction activities. This role ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and in alignment with quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong leadership and organizational skills, committed to excellence in every phase of construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·Direct and oversee field personnel, subcontractors, and construction activities, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient use of labor and resources.

·Coordinate with Project Managers to meet construction timelines.

·Maintain a safe jobsite environment in accordance with OSHA and company standards.

·Conduct regular safety meetings, investigate incidents, ensure proper reporting, and take corrective actions and promote a culture of safety and accountability among all site personnel.

·Review project plans, specifications, and documents for completeness and constructability.

·Manage site logistics, equipment, materials, and manpower to maintain project flow.

·Lead the development and maintenance of project schedules and 3-week lookahead plans.

·Monitor quality assurance and ensure work meets or exceeds company standards.

·Collaborate with project teams, including Project Managers, Engineers, Foremen, and subcontractors.

·Ensure required materials, inspections, and documentation are in place to meet project milestones.

·Generate RFIs and review submittals for compliance and accuracy.

·Maintain accurate records including labor reports, field purchase orders, equipment logs, and daily reports.

·Represent DCGprofessionally with owners, clients, subcontractors, and visitors.

·Attend and lead on-site project meetings with subcontractors and trades.

·Provide input on process improvements and contribute to business development efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

·6–10 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction.

·Proven success overseeing projects $5M to $30M in size.

·OSHA 30 certified or willing to acquire within a reasonable time, with a strong understanding of health and safety standards.

·Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office.

·Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experience in multifamily, mixed-use, office, and various other commercial buildings.
