Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for commercial projects in West Michigan. You will manage subcontractors, enforce safety, and drive project execution from groundbreaking to closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field leadership, knowledge of means and methods, and proficiency with Procore or Bluebeam. OSHA 30 is preferred and a strong communicator will thrive in our owner-focused, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects.
• Experience with industrial, institutional, and/or mixed-use project types preferred
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with scheduling software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor scheduling and sequencing
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
• Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout construction phases
• Coordinate with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and site documentation
• Lead pre-construction and weekly progress meetings with trade partners

Job Details

The Construction Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
