Qualifications

• 4–8 years of commercial superintendent experience.
• Experience with projects valued at $20M+ is strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Denver-area jobsites.
• Experience with schools, municipal buildings, libraries or comparable facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, labor, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Independently develop construction schedules, establish trade sequencing, and maintain weekly updates and look-ahead plans.
• Identify schedule risks early and implement practical recovery plans.
• Partner with the Project Manager to manage project requirements, resources, and milestones.
• Promote a safe jobsite through inspections, safety meetings, and adherence to procedures.
• Monitor workmanship and resolve quality issues against plans and specs.
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Maintain daily reports and communicate progress, constraints, and field needs.
• Build productive relationships with owners, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Support jobsite environmental and stormwater requirements.

An established general contractor is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects throughout the Denver area.

This position offers the opportunity to oversee ground-up construction and renovations across educational, municipal, community, and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate brings strong field leadership, independent scheduling capabilities, and a commitment to developing a long-term career.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, labor, deliveries, and site logistics.


• Independently develop construction schedules, establish trade sequencing, and maintain weekly updates and look-ahead plans.


• Identify schedule risks early and implement practical recovery plans.


• Partner with the Project Manager to manage project requirements, resources, and milestones.


• Promote a safe jobsite through inspections, safety meetings, and consistent enforcement of company procedures.


• Monitor workmanship and resolve quality issues against approved plans and specifications.


• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, commissioning, and project closeout.


• Maintain daily reports and communicate progress, constraints, and field needs.


• Build productive relationships with owners, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, and project teams.


• Support jobsite environmental and stormwater requirements.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4-8 years of commercial superintendent experience.


• Demonstrated success leading complex construction projects; experience with projects valued at $20M+ is strongly preferred.


• Relevant experience with schools, municipal buildings, libraries, churches, or comparable commercial facilities.


• Ability to build and manage a construction schedule independently using Microsoft Project, Procore, Excel, or comparable tools.


• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.


• Clear communication, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style.


• A record of accountability and sustained contributions to previous employers.


• Interest in professional development and long-term advancement.


• OSHA 30 certification.


• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Denver-area jobsites.
