Job summary

Insight Global is looking to hire 2 Commissioning Superintendents for onsite hyperscale construction partner in Childress. These individuals will lead the commissioning field team and information from start to finish for large high-tech projects.

Education in materials and methods of construction is required, with 5+ years of commissioning management experience. Industrial/semiconductor project experience is preferred; housing and per diem are provided.

Qualifications

• Education background in materials and methods of construction is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of project commissioning management experience.
• Specific experience in industrial or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite commissioning field team and oversight for start-to-finish activities on large high-tech projects.
• Coordinate with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and craftsmen to resolve commissioning coordination issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Education background in materials and methods of construction.
• 5+ years of project commissioning management experience required
• Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is preferred.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.
• Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6).
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of all aspects of commissioning.
• Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques.
• Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method. Familiar with CSI specification system for construction.
• Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills

• lead onsite quality control efforts by assisting subcontractors and vendors with startup preparation, including reviewing startup schedules and any impact that other subcontractors may have during startup
• collaborate with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and craftspeople to address complex commissioning coordination issues
