Job summary

Insight Global is hiring two Commissioning Engineers for onsite hyperscale construction in Childress. You will work within the commissioning department and collaborate with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and craftspeople to ensure readiness and safe operation of systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commissioning management, a relevant engineering degree, and experience with construction documentation and startup coordination for complex facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering/architecture or related field.
• Experience with materials and methods of construction.
• 5+ years of project commissioning management experience.
• Industrial/hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all systems are ready to operate safely with proper precautions.
• Coordinate startups by interfacing between trade managers and subcontractors.
• Organize training for clients' personnel on electrical systems and components.

Job description

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience required.
• Education background in materials and methods of construction
• 5+ years of project commissioning management experience required
• Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is preferred.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.
• Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6). Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of all aspects of commissioning.
• Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques.
• Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method. Familiar with CSI specification system for construction.
• Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills

Insight Global is looking to hire 2 Commissioning Engineers for onsite hyperscale construction partner in Childress. These individuals will work within the commissioning department and will work closely with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and craftspeople.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all systems are ready to operate in a safe manner and ensure all safety precautions are in place prior to any system being operated.
• Interface between all trade managers and multiple subcontractors to assist in coordinating startups.
• Organize and facilitate training of clients' personnel in the operations and maintenance of electrical systems and components.
