Job summary

National Commercial Construction Company is seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up industrial and tilt-wall projects across the Metro Atlanta market. You will drive execution, safety, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination from site development through turnover.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction with 5+ years as a Lead Superintendent on tilt-wall/tilt-up projects, plus experience with warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• 5+ years serving as a Lead Superintendent on ground-up projects.
• Direct experience leading Tilt-Wall or Tilt-Up construction projects is REQUIRED.
• Experience managing warehouse projects and manufacturing facilities.
• Strong understanding of building envelope systems and MEP coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software is preferred.
• Valid driver''s license and ability to travel throughout Metro Atlanta.

About the Opportunity

A nationally recognized commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up industrial and warehouse projects throughout the Metro Atlanta market. This individual will serve as the primary field leader responsible for driving project execution, safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination from site development through final turnover.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record leading Tilt-Wall / Tilt-Up industrial construction projects, including distribution centers, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, logistics centers, and large-scale commercial developments.

This position requires travel throughout the Metro Atlanta area based on project assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction operations for ground-up industrial and tilt-wall projects.
• Manage project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel.
• Oversee site logistics, safety compliance, quality control, and project documentation.
• Conduct daily coordination meetings and maintain effective communication with project teams.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field issues to avoid schedule impacts.
• Coordinate inspections, permitting requirements, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of commercial construction experience

5+ years serving as a Lead Superintendent on ground-up projects

Direct experience leading Tilt-Wall or Tilt-Up construction projects is REQUIRED

Experience managing:

• Warehouse projects
• Manufacturing facilities

Strong understanding of:

• Building envelope systems
• MEP coordination

Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project schedules in a fast-paced environment

Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software preferred

Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Metro Atlanta project locations
