Job summary

Everest Consultants, Inc. seeks an Engineer 2 to support development, review, maintenance, and governance of construction standards and specification libraries. You will coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to update specifications and assemble solicitation packages, maintaining related documentation and systems.

The role also covers training, records management, change initiatives, and use of data and AI tools to analyze and improve standards and specifications.

Qualifications

• 5 years of practical engineering experience in construction.
• 3 years using CSI standards to develop and manage standard specs.
• Experience developing/maintaining standard construction spec libraries (guide-specs).
• Experience preparing project specifications and inspection forms.

Responsibilities

• Meet with SMEs to draft or revise construction specification sections.
• Coordinate reviews and reconcile feedback across stakeholders.
• Publish finalized specification sections using established systems.
• Maintain standard specification libraries and monitor review cycles.
• Support project teams in developing project specifications and solicitation packages.
• Develop and update design standards governing spec format and use.
• Research industry approaches and provide recommendations to improve standards.
