Jobot is hiring a Staff Accountant in the Reston area to support our construction division. You will manage daily bookkeeping, prepare financial reports, and drive cost analysis with Deltek CostPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, construction industry preferred.
• Proficient with Deltek CostPoint and GAAP knowledge.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and reconciliations per GAAP.
• Utilize Deltek CostPoint to analyze financial data and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports on net revenue, costs, and expenses.
• Develop systems to collect and report financial information effectively.
• Collaborate with project management to build financial plans and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with laws; advise management on actions needed.
• Assist in annual audits and continue professional development.
