Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Construction Specialist to join the CCI electrical and automation team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This entry-level role offers exposure to a dynamic construction environment, with responsibilities spanning document review, cost estimation, scheduling, and field coordination.

Travel up to 10% may be required. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing documents and preparing deliverables during pursuit phase.
• Prepare preliminary project cost estimates by researching labor, materials, and equipment.
• Develop preliminary engineering and construction schedules.
• Create General Conditions based on bidding documents and staffing requirements.
• Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, client, owners, and stakeholders to ensure timely and safe completion.
• Review submittals and RFIs; issue construction documents to field crews.
• Support project close-out and final record drawings.
