Job summary

Teksky LLC is seeking a Construction Specialist to support commercial, institutional, infrastructure, healthcare, and mission-critical projects in Chicago. You will coordinate field operations and ensure work aligns with drawings, codes, and quality standards. You will review documents, monitor schedules and budgets, prepare reports, and collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve field issues and drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience on commercial, institutional, infrastructure or healthcare construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of budgeting, estimating, and cost tracking; familiar with codes and quality control.

What We're Looking For

• Experience with commercial, institutional, infrastructure, healthcare, or similar construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and field coordination
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Experience with inspections, quality control, and code compliance
• Knowledge of budgeting, estimating, and cost tracking
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation tools
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field - or equivalent experience
• Healthcare, mission critical, education, government, industrial, wastewater, construction experience is required.
• Knowledge of sustainable, energy-efficient construction is a plus.
