Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a construction supervisor to oversee and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring safe, quality, and productive work.

You will lead a team of 1-5 workers, interpret blueprints, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety policies.

The role involves preplanning, reporting, and occasional travel to different jobsites, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints skillfully.
• Must possess strong communication and management skills.
• Read, comprehend and write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Present information in small group situations to customers and other employees.
• Take reasonable care of health and safety and others as part of Zero Injury principles.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and lead the team to do the same.
• Leads a team of 1-5 workers in safe and productive construction activities.
• Ensure workers perform tasks skillfully and efficiently.
• Ensure assigned work progresses on schedule.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
• Suggest improvements to production methods and equipment for efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate material and equipment routing and work area layouts.
• May train new workers and assist in jobsite orientation.
• Maintain time and production records and complete project reports.
• Travel to different jobsites as needed.
