Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Site Systems Engineering Specialist – Construction Applications to define, integrate, and validate end-to-end construction site technology solutions.

You will work closely with the Construction Site Systems Engineering Lead to translate customer and program needs into scalable requirements, interfaces, and delivery plans. The role spans machine, embedded software, office software, and network systems to ensure safe, integrated construction solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with cross-disciplinary teams and complex systems integration.
• Familiarity with NPI processes and governance activities.

Responsibilities

• Support development of end-to-end construction site solution requirements and interfaces.
• Coordinate with machine, embedded software, office software, and delivery teams.
• Contribute to architecture activities including verification planning and reviews.
• Develop systems engineering artifacts and verification evidence.
• Assist in identifying risks and dependencies across programs.
• Participate in technical reviews and governance discussions to reflect construction needs.
• Support deployments through readiness reviews, validation, and issue investigation.
• Collaborate with the lead to align project plans and delivery milestones.
