Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced Configurator Systems Integration Senior Engineer to transform engineering concepts into integrated, reliable products.
You will drive system integration across Load & Haul lines, collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers, and influence architecture decisions to enable enterprise-wide solutions. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, onsite work five days a week in Mossville, IL, up to 15% travel, and visa sponsorship is not
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- Experience applying systems engineering principles to complex products.
- Proven track record in FMEA, reliability and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and integration of system architectures, requirements, interfaces and targets across Load & Haul platforms.
- Define system-level requirements, validation strategies, and success criteria.
- Analyze performance, identify risks, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Evaluate new technologies and drive continuous product improvement.
- Develop prototypes and support engineering validation and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to optimize designs.
