A leading non-profit organization is seeking a Site Supervisor for construction projects in southeastern Massachusetts. The role involves overseeing construction quality, managing volunteers, and ensuring compliance with building codes. Ideal candidates will have a Massachusetts Construction Site Supervisor License and at least three years of residential construction experience. This full-time position offers benefits and requires physical stamina for outdoor work.
Reports To: Construction Project Manager
Type: Full-time, hourly (40 hours/week) with benefits, including health, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid vacation, sick days, and holidays
Location: Norwell, Massachusetts, with travel across southeastern Massachusetts
For 38 years, South Shore Habitat for Humanity (SSHH) has been helping individuals build and improve homes. As an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, we serve 32 cities and towns in Southeastern Massachusetts, sharing a vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
The Site Supervisor oversees construction projects, ensuring they meet Habitat standards. Responsibilities include supervising volunteers, coordinating contractors, and working with Family Partners on-site. The role reports weekly to the Construction Project Manager.
Must have physical stamina, strength, and balance, capable of lifting 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Certifications include Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License and annual Habitat-specific training.
