Job summary

Nimble Robotics is hiring a Construction Site Supervisor in New Jersey to oversee daily field operations on commercial construction and renovation projects supporting our robotic fulfillment facilities. You will lead on-site teams, ensure safety, and uphold project plans and specs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple trades in fast-paced environments. Expect travel up to 25% and a performance-driven culture.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial or industrial construction experience.
  • 2+ years leading field crews or foreman.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in active construction environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily construction activities on job sites.
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within quality expectations.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field issues.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and labor resources.
  • Perform quality inspections and ensure work meets project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, facility teams, and customers.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and documentation.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and site logistics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce project delays.
  • Support commissioning, turnover, and final project closeout activities.
  • Travel to project sites as needed (up to 25%).

The Role

The Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field operations on commercial construction and renovation projects supporting Nimble’s robotic fulfillment facilities. This role serves as the primary on-site leader, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong commercial construction experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple trades in fast-paced environments.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center construction.
  • Experience supporting automation or robotics installations.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
  • Mechanical, electrical, or industrial construction experience is a plus.

Additional Requirements

Compensation

The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000 - $105,000/year. Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this position will also receive generous equity for this position.
