Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Construction Manager 2 for our Roy, UT project. The role oversees field operations on the Sentinel program, ensuring work aligns with contract documents and schedules while enforcing safety and quality controls. Occasional travel up to 10% is required with potential relocation support.

You'll lead subcontractors, manage daily CMS updates, and report progress in weekly meetings. A strong background in construction management and security clearances is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience or Master’s with 6+ years, or equivalent.
• Experience with construction processes including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, etc.
• Experience leading field operations and ensuring safety/quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations on the project to ensure work complies with contract documents and schedule.
• Produce daily reports and use CMS for project tracking.
• Present project status in weekly meetings and train staff as needed.
• Plan work to align with contract documents and schedules.
• Maintain knowledge of contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Monitor critical material delivery dates and submittal schedules.
• Develop and maintain a three-week look-ahead schedule for the project.
• Ensure safe and cost-efficient execution of field work and supervise crews.
