Job summary

HazTek Safety Management seeks a Safety Professional to support construction activities on a live project site in New Brunswick, NJ. You will coordinate daily safety activities with the project superintendent and subcontractors, review high-risk work and ensure compliance with the project safety plan. Expect to lead toolbox talks and maintain comprehensive safety records, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Construction safety experience with field crews and project leadership
• CHST, OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, and NFPA 70E certifications
• OSHA 510 preferred
• Procore and MS Office proficiency
• Ability to lead toolbox talks and safety training
• Knowledge of incident investigations and safety metrics

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily safety activities with project superintendent and subcontractors
• Review JHAs, pre-task plans, and high-risk work permits; walk down areas with personnel
• Verify subcontractor safety submittals, training records, and equipment inspections
• Lead weekly toolbox talks and support safety observation programs
• Assist with incident investigations and reporting
• Maintain safety records (JHAs, permits, inspections, SDS, toolbox talks, metrics)
