Job summary

DataONE Construction is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the jobsite safety team, including Safety leads, Coordinators, the Safety Administrator, and Safety Laborers. You will apply in-depth knowledge of industrial safety across electrical, welding, pipefitting, plumbing, rigging, crane picks, and equipment operations.

You will walk sites to identify hazards, enforce OSHA requirements, and coordinate with field supervision to ensure safety plans match work.

Qualifications

• Experience leading safety teams on active construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards (construction).
• Proven ability to coordinate safety plans with field trades.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Safety team, the Safety Administrator, and Safety Laborers.
• Set daily priorities for safety coverage on the jobsite.
• Apply safety knowledge across electrical, welding, pipefitting, plumbing, rigging and crane operations.
• Support barricades, LOTO, labeling and safety cleanup.
• Walk the jobsite to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Coordinate with field supervision to align safety plans with work.
• Update Monday.com boards to track safety work, staffing and follow-ups.
• Build and share safety reports and documents in Microsoft Office.
• Review safety records and sign-in sheets; coach safety staff.
• Enforce OSHA requirements on site; report issues to management.
