Job summary

Joeris General Contractors, LLC. seeks a Safety Manager to oversee project site safety, enforce OSHA standards, and ensure Joeris policies on all jobsites. You will coordinate safety documentation, conduct daily inspections, and lead toolbox talks with field teams.

The role requires extensive construction safety experience, trainer qualifications, and the ability to respond quickly to incidents on site. Ideal candidates will have OSHA trainer certifications, proven incident investigation skills,

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 7+ years in building construction safety; 5+ years in safety management.
• Experience with UT Safety specs and requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of fall protection, scaffold, excavation/trench, confined space, crane operation, electrical safety, incident investigation, IH, fire protection, lockout/tagout, respiratory protection.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety per UT ROCIP and Joeris policies.
• Obtain and track safety documentation from subs.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and follow up on issues.
• Investigate theft and accidents; file timely reports.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings with teams.
• Ensure jobsite PPE is used properly and replaced when needed.
• Coordinate pre-task planning with subcontractors.
• Maintain accident log for employees and subs.
• Ensure site signage is up to date and security measures work.
• Provide onsite trainings and orientation; one-on-one coaching.
