Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Safety Coordinator to promote a safe work environment across active construction sites in Texas. You will conduct jobsite safety trainings, perform site visits, investigate incidents, and maintain OSHA records in collaboration with leadership.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in construction safety, strong knowledge of OSHA standards, and experience with electrical construction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in the construction industry focused on safety.
• Electrical construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts safety trainings and toolbox talks.
• Performs daily jobsite visits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Investigates incidents and documents findings.
• Ensures OSHA compliance and enforces safety policies.
• Fosters safety culture and coordinates with leadership.
