Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the implementation and daily administration of safety programs across assigned operations and construction projects in Austin, TX. You will promote safe work practices, regulatory compliance, hazard awareness, and workforce engagement in field settings.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification required, OSHA 30 preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years construction or safety experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety procedures and documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and administration of safety programs across projects.
• Conduct field inspections, safety observations, audits, and jobsite reviews.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
• Maintain safety records, logs, certifications, training records, and audit findings.
