Job summary

McKenney’s, Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist to support project safety accountability programs, accident and fire protection initiatives, and compliance with company, client, and state/federal regulations across our job sites.

You will conduct site inspections, support pre-task planning, incident investigation, and root cause analysis, and coordinate with Safety Manager and field leaders to drive a zero-incident safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of field safety experience.
• OSHA 500 certification required.
• Basic understanding of construction OSHA regulations.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist safety team in daily safety programs and risk reduction.
• Perform site walks and safety inspections.
• Participate in pre-task planning and lookahead meetings.
• Respond promptly to safety requests and incidents on sites.
• Prepare incident reports and root cause analyses with the Safety Manager.
• Coordinate with field crews and project leadership to maintain safety standards.
