Job summary

The Eliason Corporation is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator for our Lithia Springs, GA job site. You will implement and enforce the safety program, coordinate with the EHS Manager and GC, and ensure crews work safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.

Responsibilities include jobsite hazard identification, incident investigations, safety orientations, and maintaining training records. A high school diploma and OSHA certifications are required or preferred, with strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Two to five years of construction safety experience, preferably in subcontractor environments.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections of work areas and equipment.
• Identify, correct, and document hazards related to fall protection, elevated work, and material handling.
• Address unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions with EHS Manager and GC.
• Enforce OSHA 29 CFR 1926, company policies, and site safety plans.
• Participate in incident investigations and complete safety documentation.
