Job summary

VIP Personnel, Inc. seeks an Assistant Superintendent in Birmingham, AL to coordinate site construction activities and supervise field personnel. The role focuses on keeping projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

The candidate will maintain the job site office and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel. Normal hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00-5:00, with about 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Building Science, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Experience in Retail, Grocery, Healthcare/Urgent Care, or similar projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all site construction activities and supervise all field personnel.
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget; monitor progress and quality.
• Monitor jobsite safety and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Maintain the job site office and close out projects; coordinate subcontractors and vendors.
