Hoar Construction is seeking a Laborer to support craft workers on commercial and industrial sites in Galveston, Texas. The role involves assisting with material handling, tool operation, site cleanup, and basic setup tasks while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Work is outdoors, often in varying weather; you will operate hand and power tools, assist with scaffolding and earthwork, and communicate clearly in English. The position requires physical stamina and a high school diploma or GED.

Competenze

6 months experience as commercial or industrial laborer.
Experience operating required hand and power tools.
English communication and ability to read instructions; Spanish helpful but not required.
High School Diploma or GED.

Mansioni

Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools and distribute them to locations.
Dig ditches or trenches and backfill excavations to grade specifications.
Operate hand or power tools such as air hammers, cement mixers, or surveying equipment.
If certified, operate heavy equipment such as backhoe or bobcat.
Assist in erecting or dismantling scaffolding and other temporary structures.
Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
