Job summary

Opitz Bürotechnik is seeking a Laborer to assist craft workers on commercial or industrial construction sites, handling materials, tools, and basic site prep. You will work outdoors, operate various hand and power tools, and assist with scaffolding and temporary structures.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience, be proficient with tools, and possess a high school diploma or GED. English communication is essential; Spanish abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as commercial/industrial laborer.
• Experience operating required hand and power tools.
• Strong reading, writing and verbal communication in English.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, identify materials, machinery, or tools; install or remove signage and hardware.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or grade earth using hand tools and tampers.
• Operate hand or power tools and small equipment as required.
• Assist in erecting or dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to reduce hazards.
• Travel between sites; outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
