Job summary

Charah Solutions Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented janitor for a construction-field office environment. The role focuses on cleaning interior spaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

Responsibilities include trash disposal, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, organizing supplies, and adhering to all safety procedures. A valid driver’s license is required and prior janitorial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in janitorial/ housekeeping preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior of buildings including floors, carpet, windows, and walls.
• Disinfect desks, door handles, office tools, and phones.
• Empty trash and recycle bins.
• Clean, sanitize, and stock restrooms.
• Clean, sanitize, and stock office kitchen/break area.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; organize janitor closet and store supplies.
• Use common cleaning tools.
• Follow safety rules and precautions.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Must manage time efficiently and work individually or in a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for performing janitorial duties in a construction field office as directed by site leadership.
