Job summary

Charah Solutions is hiring a general laborer to support construction sites with truck spotting, hand tool use, silt fence installation, and site cleanup.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, basic construction knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime while adhering to safety rules.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties on a construction site, including spotting trucks and using hand tools.

This position is responsible for performing various duties on a construction site as directed by site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties such as spotting trucks, using hand tools (shovel, rake, post hole digger, etc.), installing silt fence and using small equipment
• Sweep and mop trailer floor, clean work area and wash trucks
• Flag vehicles in and out of the construction site
• Learn, follow, and promote all safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• Minimum one-year experience working in a construction or similar environment preferred
• General knowledge of construction and mechanical equipment preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment & Conditions

• This position requires a flexible work schedule: nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime
• Must be able to climb, maintain body equilibrium, reach, grasp, bend and walk/stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to hear and see naturally or with correction
