Job summary

Marous Brothers Construction (MBC) is seeking a self-motivated Shop Assistant for our Shop Facility. This full-time, onsite role supports daily shop operations by delivering materials, maintaining equipment, and assisting with field needs on active projects.

The position requires the ability to self-load trucks, secure loads, and assist with vehicle upkeep. You will report to the Shop and Facilities Manager, reviewing the daily game plan and maintaining a written running list of

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of heavy construction equipment and basic maintenance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and distribute materials to active job sites and load/unload trucks.
• Properly secure loads and assist with maintaining vehicles and equipment.
• Check tools in and out of the shop and service gas-powered equipment.
• Perform janitorial duties, trash/debris cleanup, and snow removal as needed.
• Assist with meeting setup/tear-down and keep the shop organized.
