Job summary

Marous Brothers Construction is seeking a self-motivated Shop Assistant to support daily shop and facilities operations. The role involves delivering materials, loading and unloading trucks, securing loads, and assisting with maintaining vehicles and equipment at the shop and on active project sites.

You will report to the Shop and Facilities Manager and help manage a running list of responsibilities, ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization, and perform basic janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of heavy construction equipment and basic maintenance preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and distribute materials to active job sites.
• Load and unload trucks; secure loads.
• Check tools in and out of the shop; service gas-powered equipment.
