Job summary

HNTB is seeking an intern to support multiple departments on construction projects, primarily in a part-time, temporary, or co-op capacity. You will assist with office tasks, attend project meetings, and observe on-site activities under close supervision.

Ideal candidates are current students in a post-secondary construction services program, with a willingness to learn and contribute to project success. This role offers hands-on experience within a national infrastructure firm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program.
• Ability to work under close supervision in a team environment.
• Availability for part-time, temporary, or co-op assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction office support tasks including meeting minutes and tracking logs.
• Attends meetings with internal and external project teams.
• Assists with on-site material testing and basic shop drawing review.
• Performs basic research and data collection.
• Reads construction drawings and provides feedback.
• Supports portions of special projects as directed.
