Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer licensure or ability to obtain within a reasonable time frame.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with standard software tools and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee or participate in field activities on WisDOT projects and municipal projects.
• Provide on-site representation, documentation, material testing, survey coordination, and related duties.
• Apply engineering and technical knowledge to complete construction tasks and inspections.
• Conduct final inspections of construction projects.
• Lead construction engineers on multi-phase projects and coordinate teams and schedules.
