Allied Universal in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Security Officer – Construction Part-Time to provide reliable, flexible security coverage at a technology and data infrastructure site.

This role features anchor shifts with six-month commitments and the option to earn more by taking additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position pays $24.72 per hour, supports professional growth, and emphasizes customer service, vigilance, and safe event handling.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel and vehicle activity to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs.
