Job summary

J.S. Held is seeking a Senior Scheduler to develop and manage construction project timelines using Primavera P6 and MS Project. The role requires CPM and Earned Value familiarity, and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align schedules with project objectives, monitor progress, and produce reports for stakeholders. A Bachelor’s in a related field is preferred, with a flexible, potentially remote work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Understanding CPM and Earned Value.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Sequence tasks and allocate resources, identifying dependencies and critical path.
• Monitor progress and update schedules based on field data and delays.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers and subcontractors to gather inputs and align with objectives.
• Identify and manage risks and develop contingency plans.
• Generate schedule reports and perform variance analysis.
• Support claims analysis and recovery planning when delays occur.
• Collaborate with procurement and staffing to ensure timely materials, equipment, and labor.
