Job summary

Hill & Wilkinson General Contractors seeks a Construction Scheduling Engineer to join our project delivery team across Dallas–Fort Worth and Central Texas. This role develops, maintains, and manages detailed CPM schedules that align with contractual requirements, procurement, manpower, and cost considerations.

You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and owners to validate activity durations, monitor progress, and forecast substantial completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and critical path analysis.
• Experience supporting projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth, Temple and Austin markets.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and controls CPM schedules from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Establishes baseline schedules reflecting approved execution plans and milestones.
• Coordinates with procurement, manpower, and cost plans for schedule integration.
• Collaborates with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and owners to ensure constructible schedules.
• Leads look-ahead planning and phase planning workshops to validate activity durations.
• Produces schedule narratives, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
• Supports time-related change orders, extensions of time, and delay evaluations.
