Fortiva is seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler with deep Primavera P6 expertise to join our national project controls team. You will lead schedule development for multi-disciplinary capital programs and serve as a technical advisor to premier Owner’s Representative firms.

You will manage complex CPM analysis, schedule health checks, and risk assessments, collaborating with executives and stakeholders across multiple high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on construction scheduling experience in heavy civil, infrastructure, utilities, or capital projects.
• Expert-level Primavera P6 (EPMP/Professional) with WBS, calendars, resource loading, and earned value.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of schedules for multi-disciplinary capital programs using P6.
• Perform CPM analysis, schedule health checks, and data verification to catch logic errors.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments (SRA) and delay claims analysis with P6 and Acumen Fuse.
• Advise Owner's Rep leadership on schedule compliance, review logs, and audits of contractor submissions.
• Collaborate with project management and engineering to forecast completion dates and track earned value metrics.
• Formulate recovery strategies using P6 scenario modeling for distressed or delayed projects.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler with deep Primavera P6 expertise to join our client's high-performing project controls team. In this role, you will lead the charge on multi-disciplinary capital programs, acting as a trusted Primavera P6 power-user and technical advisor to premier Owner’s Representative firms.

You will manage key elements of schedule development, advanced data modeling, and risk mitigation across concurrent high-profile projects, collaborating directly with project executives and stakeholders. Expect dynamic project variety and high-impact advisory work centered around advanced scheduling architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• P6 Architecture & Maintenance: Lead the creation, advanced coding, layout customization, and baseline management of complex resource-loaded schedules exclusively using Oracle Primavera P6.
• Advanced CPM & Schedule Health: Perform rigorous critical path method (CPM) analysis, schedule health checks, and data verification within P6 to catch logic errors, missing constraints, and out-of-sequence progress.
• Forensic Analysis & Risk: Utilize P6 alongside tools like Acumen Fuse to conduct schedule risk assessments (SRA) and comprehensive delay claims analysis.
• Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a key technical consultant for Owner's Rep leadership, guiding schedule compliance, review logs, and contractor submission audits.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with project management and engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, forecast accurate completion dates, and track earned value metrics.
• Recovery Planning: Formulate and recommend proactive recovery strategies and mitigation plans for distressed or delayed projects using P6 scenario modeling.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on construction scheduling experience within heavy civil, infrastructure, utilities, or capital projects.
• Primavera P6 Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (Enterprise Project Portfolio Management / Professional), including WBS design, global calendars, resource loading, and earned value management.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of CPM scheduling best practices, delay analysis methodologies, and forensic review techniques.
• Industry Knowledge: Direct exposure to working with Owner's Representatives, general contractors, or large capital program owners.
• Communication: Exceptional client-facing and communication skills with the confidence to advise executive-level stakeholders.
