Mammoth Associates (Mammoth) is a professional services firm that specializes in program, project and construction management for industrial and infrastructure construction projects. We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated Construction Schedulers to join our dynamic team in a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA.As an Construction Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective administration of construction projects, ensuring they stay on track and in compliance with design, technical, and regulatory standards. These are all on-site positions so you must live locally in Southern CA. These are not remote positions.
Roles and responsibilities:
Develops and maintains program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types
Monitors and actively participates in project and program scheduling issues while administering best practices and standards
Obtains accurate and timely program schedule updates from project teams and performs QA/QC on information received
Creates and develops conceptual what-if schedules for multiple project types including large complex multi-year projects
Performs Critical Path analyses and Earned Value analyses
Prepares ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by management
Requirements:
5-10 years full time paid professional experience in Scheduling for an owner or General Contractor, preferably working on transit and infrastructure projects
Proficiency in Primavera and MS Office Suite
Experience with projects using Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CM/GC and Progressive Design Build project delivery methods
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior organizational and planning skills
Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
Time impact analysis of schedule changes, identify schedule variances and opportunities.
Education/Other Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field is preferred.
Experience with large-scale, complex construction projects.
Knowledge & experience with project management principles and project control cycles.
Experience with Primavera P6
