Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited program.
• 1-2 years public accounting or 3-4 years in a similar SALT role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales & use tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Prepare and manage property tax returns annually
• Ensure compliance with multi-state tax regulations and nexus requirements
• Prepare apportionment workpapers for income tax and review state/local income tax returns
• Collaborate with tax advisors on SALT issues
• Prepare correspondence and responses to state/local tax authorities
• Analyze, monitor, and pursue state tax developments
• Collaborate across departments to capture taxes in job cost and owner billings
• Other activities as assigned
