Job summary

Summit Reconstruction & Restoration is seeking an experienced Construction Sales Estimator to join our team in Oregon/Washington. You will identify opportunities, develop estimates, sell rebuild projects, and collaborate with production teams to ensure projects are completed successfully.

Responsibilities include managing client relationships, walking projects, preparing scopes of work, and presenting solutions to clients while collaborating with property managers and subcontractors to drive

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction experience.
• 4+ years experience preparing estimates using Xactimate (must have!).
• 3+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience working directly with clients and property management organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to sell construction or reconstruction projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients and projects.
• Develop relationships with property managers, adjusters, subcontractors, and other contacts.
• Identify and pursue new reconstruction opportunities.
• Build relationships with commercial and multifamily property management organizations.
• Take project handoffs from mitigation teams and identify opportunities for reconstruction services.
• Conduct property inspections, site visits, and project walkthroughs.
• Evaluate damage and conditions to develop accurate scopes of work.
• Prepare detailed construction estimates using Xactimate.
• Develop proposals and present project solutions to clients.
• Follow-up on estimates and actively work to close projects.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams on scope, budget, schedule, expectations.
• Manage sold projects from estimating through completion and closeout.
• Coordinate and direct internal crews and subcontractors.
• Monitor project budgets, labor, materials, and production schedules.
• Help ensure projects are completed profitably, on schedule, and to client’s expectations.
• Communicate changes and needs to clients and leadership.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and estimating records.
• Assist with developing subcontractor relationships.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and profitability.
