Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Construction Sales Engineer to support the Charlotte NC market and surrounding area. You will own project-based revenue growth, build trusted relationships across the construction ecosystem, and position Siemens low- and medium-voltage power distribution solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

You will develop strategic territory plans, maintain a robust pipeline, deliver disciplined forecasts, and influence project specifications early in design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
• Power distribution sales, engineering, or project management experience in electrical manufacturing or distribution.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience managing accounts and developing project-based sales opportunities.
• Experience with CRM tools to manage pipeline and forecast opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue and market share with accountable sales results.
• Develop and drive strategic sales plans for target customers and projects.
• Build a qualified project pipeline with accurate data and forecasts.
• Engage across the full construction lifecycle from design to bid and execution.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, distributors, and Siemens teams.
• Influence design basis and project specifications early in cycles.
• Coordinate pursuit activities with internal teams.
