P1 Construction, LLC is seeking a Safety Specialist for the Lawrence, KS office to lead safety training, perform safety shop and jobsite audits, run contractor meetings, and oversee day-to-day construction safety operations.

This role applies to safety for all manufacturing shops and construction in Lawrence and surrounding areas, with emphasis on compliance and incident prevention in a safety‑first culture. P1 offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Safety and Health preferred.
• At least 3 years of full-time safety experience in general industry or construction.
• OHST certification preferred.
• Background check, drug screen, MVR check required; valid driver's license; vehicle insured.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety training and oversee safety shop/j obsite audits.
• Lead contractor meetings and day-to-day safety operations for Lawrence and surrounding areas.
• Ensure compliance and foster a safety-first culture across manufacturing shops and construction sites.
