Job summary

Kinsley Construction is looking for a Safety Professional to ensure adherence to safety regulations at job sites in North East, MD and Dagsboro, DE. Responsibilities include training staff, performing inspections, and facilitating safety meetings.

The ideal candidate should have prior construction experience, safety credentials, and knowledge of OSHA regulations. A valid driver’s license is required, and opportunities for career advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction is preferred.
• Degree or safety credential is preferred.
• Must be willing to commute to job sites as required.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of and/or experience with the rules and regulations of Workers Comp, OSHA, MSHA, and DOT.
• OSHA 10 & 30 hr preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• On-board subcontractors to ensure compliance on Kinsley sites.
• Inspect job sites and machinery for hazards.
• Conduct investigations into workplace incidents.
• Facilitate meetings with onsite management to promote safety.
• Develop training materials for hazardous situations.
• Train employees in various safety topics.
