ERM in San Diego is seeking a Construction Safety Specialist (Field Based) to lead safety initiatives for a high-visibility biotech construction project. This on-site, full-time role focuses on fall protection, scaffolding, and roofing.
Key duties include daily site safety inspections, enforcing regulations, reviewing pre-task plans, incident investigations, toolbox talks, and coordinating with trades to uphold safe practices.

ERM is hiring an on-site Construction Safety Specialist to support and lead safety initiatives for a high-visibility construction project. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a trade background, and a solid foundation in construction safety practices, particularly around fall protection, scaffolding, and roofing. This is a full-time hours (40+ hours per week), limited-term role with a duration of 7 months, extendable.
For the Construction Safety Specialist position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $76,003.20 – $97,385.60, $36.54/hr – $46.82/hr USD , limited-term, non-exempt. An employee's pay position within this range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where employee's fall outside of the range based on the factors noted above. This job may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/Flexforce employees are NOT bonus eligible).
