DOTY BROS EQUIPMENT CO. is seeking a Safety Specialist in the Operations department to administer the company’s safety/health program and ensure a safe work environment for all employees across California job sites.

The role focuses on auditing safety programs, conducting inspections, coordinating training, and supporting accident investigations and safety improvements in underground construction projects.

Qualificações

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years safety-related experience or field related experience in the underground construction industry.
• OSHA 10 Construction required.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and audit the company safety program; implement safety and health activities.
• Conduct announced and unannounced occupational safety and health inspections of facilities, equipment, materials, operations and job sites for compliance.
• Analyze inspection findings to determine safety training needs; conduct training classes and maintain records.
• Assist in industrial hygiene surveys and review accidents to recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with safety committees and purchasing on safety equipment and products.
