Job summary

Novalarm Systems Inc is looking for a temporary Safety Observer to join our team in New Haven, CT. In this role, you will ensure the safe installation of low voltage systems on construction sites. The position requires strong observational skills, adherence to safety regulations, and excellent communication abilities.

This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $20 per hour and may require travel. Benefits include a cell phone stipend and paid OSHA training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded signage.
• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the scissor lift during operation.
• Ensure no hazards are near the scissor lift.
• Follow all safety regulations and standards.
• Communicate hazards clearly to the team.
• Assist with transporting job materials.
• Keep track of project deadlines and organization.
• Adhere to OSHA and client safety standards.
